How it works

Weekly Tournaments
Each tournament is comprised of 10 to hundreds of players, whereas they are playing until there is one Man,or Woman left standing.In each tournament, the top 20 players will receive points based on where they finish and how many players competed in that tournament.

Tavern Chanpionships
At the end of each season, each Tavern’s top players will compete in a Tavern Championships, where the winner will receive a trophy and the title of Tavern Champion.

Regional Championships
The top 10 ranked players at each Tavern ,and the Top 3 finishers at the Tavern Championship, will move on to the Regional Championship, where they will play against other Tavern finalists in your area.

National Championship
There are 4 National Championships each year whereas the winner receives a $2,000 Seat in a World Series of Poker event and $1,000 in travel and accommodations.

* The Spring and Summer National Championships are held in October. These are two separate events held during the same weekend at the World Tavern Poker Open.
* The Fall and Winter National Championships are held in April. These are two separate events held during the same weekend at the World Tavern Poker Open.
