WPTAPL Event Structure
WPTAPL members participate in venue specific 12 week series taking place at all WPTAPL host locations. During each series the venue will host daily/weekly events as well as 1 Venue Series Championship (VSC) Event. These events qualify you for the WPTAPL Championship held in 2011, dates to be announced, where participants will play for over $160,000 in prizes!! As a bonus, each venue will host three (3) Monthly Satellite Tournaments (MST) to qualify you for additional online opportunities!
Daily/Weekly Tournaments
Venue’s typically hosts a minimum of two (2) tournaments per week, on a single night. At each tournament players earn points when they place in the top 16 (bonus points are awarded at tournaments with more than 32 players).
Venue Series Championship (VSC)
The top 2 finishers from each daily/weekly tournament qualify to compete in this event. In addition, from each of the three, 4 week intervals, the top 10 point earners will also qualify (30 total qualifiers). First place at this event will win their entry into the WPTAPL Quarterly Online Reward Tournament (QORT) PLUS their entry to the WPTAPL Championship.
WPT Armature Championship
All qualified members will compete in the WPT Armature Championship. This event takes place each year, dates to be announced, inviting all qualified members. This event takes place over multiple days with a variety of daily charity tournaments which award entry into the main event. This event boasts over $160,000 in prizes including but not limited to WPT $10K seats, WPT Celebrity Invitational Seats, WPT Boot Camp Seats, Cruise Vacation packages and more!
*Live Play Bonus Events
Monthly Satellite Tournament (MST): Each month, each venue will host an MST Event where the top 8 (final table) from each daily/weekly tournament are invited to compete. The top finisher from this event will qualify to participate in the WPTAPL Quarterly Online Reward Tournament to compete for a minimum $1,000 prize pool, as well as any additional bonus prize offered at that event.

WPTAPL Quarterly Online Reward Tournament (QORT): All winners of MST and VSC tournaments qualify to participate in this tournament which carries a minimum $1K cash prize pool. Bonus prizes at this event can include a seat to the WPT Celebrity Invitational Event held in March of each year at the Commerce Casino in LA, valued at $25,000!
